Hong Kong Representatives Go to Norway to Attend Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony
Mr. LEE Cheuk Yan, vice-chairman of Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, Mr. Albert Chun-yan HO, secretary of the Alliance and chairman of China Human Rights Lawyers Concern Group, Ms. Emily Wai-hing LAU, vice-chairperson of China Human Rights Lawyers Concern Group, and Mr. Patrick Kar-wai POON, vice-president of Independent Chinese PEN Centre and executive secretary of China Human Rights Lawyers Concern Group, are leaving for Oslo on 8 December evening (Wednesday) to attend the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony on 10 December to support Beijing writer Dr. Liu Xiaobo who is still in prison and can’t go to Oslo to receive the award. They will check in at the Swiss Air counter at the Hong Kong Airport at 10pm on 8 December (Wednesday).
Before taking off, Lee Cheuk Yan, Albert Chun-yan HO, Emily Wai-hing LAU and Patrick Kar-wai POON are going to hold a press conference to introduce their itineraries and various activities they are going to attend in Oslo. See details of the press conference below:
